Two Much with Kajol & Twinkle (Prime Video, September 25): Mrs Forthright and Funnybones team up for a celebrity talk show that promises to be everything fun and frank. Hosted by long-time friends Kajol and Twinkle Khanna, the show is set to feature Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Govinda, Chunky Panday and Janhvi Kapoor, among others.
Janaawar—The Beast Within (ZEE5, September 26): Farzi (2023) fame Bhuvan Arora plays Hemant, a cop in this crime-thriller series set in the rural town of Chhand. A headless corpse, missing gold, and a vanished man shake the fragile peace of the town, forcing Hemant to grapple not only with a dangerous investigation but also with the systemic bias and personal struggles weighing on him, as he belongs to an oppressed caste community. Directed by Shachindra Vats, Jaanawar also stars Bhagwan Tiwari, Atul Kale, Vaibhav Yashvir, Eshika Dey, Vinod Suryavanshi, Amit Sharma, Badrul Islam, and Deekshha Sonalkar Tham in pivotal roles.
Dhadak 2 (Netflix, September 26): After a lukewarm theatrical run, Shazia Iqbal’s critically acclaimed film, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri lands on OTT this week. The film revolves around Siddhant’s Nilesh, a Dalit boy, who joins a law college. There, he falls in love with Vidhi, a privileged caste girl. As Nilesh tries to navigate love and education, the horrors of society creep up on him, constantly trying to pull him down as he struggles to break free. Dhadak 2 also features Vipin Sharma and Saurabh Sachdeva.
Son of Sardaar 2 (Netflix, September 26): The Ajay Devgn headliner slapstick-comedy will be landing now on OTT after its theatrical run. The film sees the return of Jassi, the turbaned troublemaker. This time he lands in London and has to fake being an ex-Army officer in front of a Mafia family, only to get two lovebirds married. The film also features Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Mukul Dev, Chunky Panday, Vindu Dara Singh, Deepak Dobriyal, Kubbra Sait and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles.
