At the end of the third day of its theatrical run, Nishaanchi saw a dip in its box office collection. Anurag Kashyap has written and directed the crime drama, which was released on September 19.

After collecting Rs 25 lakhs on the day of its release and Rs 39 lakhs on the second day of its theatrical release, the film collected Rs 26 lakhs on the third day of its run. This brings the total collection of the film to Rs 90 lakhs.

The cast of Nishaanchi includes Aaishvary Thackeray, in his debut, in dual roles, Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Kumud Mishra and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. The film is Anurag Kashyap's first theatrical release after Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat.

Anurag Kashyap's other feature directorial, Bandar recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra, Saba Azad, Indrajith Sukumaran, Joju George, and Raj B Shetty make up the cast of the film.
