If you have seen any paparazzi videos of Shah Rukh Khan, you will almost always spot a lady walking by his side. She is Pooja Dadlani, SRK’s long-time manager, who was also seen recently in the trailer of Aryan Khan’s debut directorial series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Recently in an interview, actor Anya Singh, who plays Sanya, the manager to the central character of superstar Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya Lalwani) — much like Pooja’s role in SRK’s life, spoke about the relationship between the manager and the superstar.

“I got to interact with Pooja ma’am much later on and not from the beginning. But what I love about their equation is that it’s like family. I wish, at some point, I could be Pooja Dadlani only because she gets to spend all her time with Shah Rukh sir. I would love to be in her position. They have a really nice equation between them,” she shared during a conversation with Siddharth Kannan.

When asked what the hallmark of their relationship was, Anya added, “She’ll sometimes look at SRK and he’ll know that time’s up. They understand each other so well, probably because they have spent so much time together. A lot of their conversations happen through expressions. That’s possible only if you know someone truly.”

Aryan’s The Ba***ds of Bollywood will start streaming on Netflix from September 18. The show also stars Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari and Manoj Pahwa. The series also promises star-studded cameos by Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Badshah and SS Rajamouli, among others.
