Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s daughter Dua turned one on Monday (September 8).

Deepika took to social media on Wednesday to share a picture of a chocolate cake she baked for her daughter for her birthday celebrations. “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday!” she captioned the post.

On September 8 last year, Deepika and Ranveer had announced that they had become parents to a baby girl. They had made the announcement via their Instagram handles. Deepika announced her pregnancy in February 2024. The couple had also shared a post announcing their pregnancy. The post read, "September 2024”. with cute motifs of baby clothes, baby shoes and balloons.

Deepika and Ranveer got married in November 2018 at a private and intimate ceremony at Italy’s Lake Como.

On the work front, Deepika and Ranveer were last seen together in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. Deepika also has Shah Rukh Khan’s King in the pipeline. Ranveer is also gearing up for his next Dhurandhar, an Aditya Dhar actioner also starring Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal.
