
Ranveer Singh’s upcoming actioner Dhurandhar has faced a setback as 120 crew members working on the film were reportedly hospitalised due to food poisoning while the film’s shooting was underway in Ladakh. The incident took place on Sunday on a film set with multiple reports suggesting that the film in question was Ranveer’s Dhurandhar.
According to an ANI report, the crew members were rushed to the SNM hospital in Leh. The medical superintendent told the news portal that doctors were called in for emergency due to the high rush of patients. “By the end of the day, we had about 120 admissions. The situation was handled well, and all of them have been treated,” the official told ANI.
She further said that there were no casualties. “Some came with severe dehydration, while others had pain in the abdomen, vomiting, acute gastroenteritis, and headache,” she said.
The medical representative also confirmed that the patients were part of a film crew. “This happened on the film’s sets. They apparently had the food arranged on the sets and developed diarrhoea and vomiting. Food samples have been sent for examination, and the final reports are pending,” she said.
The makers of Dhurandhar have not officially confirmed details of the incident.

Its first look was unveiled in July giving a glimpse into its world of high-octane action, showing Ranveer donning a heavy beard and long hair. No plot details were revealed in the teaser, which majorly focused on revealing looks of all the actors.
The film features music and background score by Shashwat Sachdev and lyrics by Kumaar. It is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya and Lokesh Dhar, and is set to be released in theatres on December 5.
