Arbaaz Khan and Sshura Khan became parents to a daughter on October 5. The two had earlier refrained from announcing her birth publicly but they took to social media on Wednesday to confirm the news and even revealed her name.

In a joint Instagram post, Arbaaz and Sshura shared a poster that read, “Welcome baby girl, Sipaara Khan. Love Arbaaz and Shura.” The caption to the post read, “Alhamdulillah”.

The name, Sipaara, means, “a beautiful woman” in Arabic while in Persian, it translates to, “a flower”.

Earlier, a video of Arbaaz holding his daughter in his hands had gone viral where he was seen leaving the hospital with Sshura accompanying him.

Arbaaz had confirmed Sshura’s pregnancy back in June. “Yes, it’s true. I’m not denying it because it’s already out there. My family knows, and now it’s public knowledge. It’s a very exciting time for us both. We’re happy and looking forward to this new chapter,” he had told Delhi Times.

Previously married to actor Malaika Arora, Arbaaz shares a 22-year-old son, Arhaan Khan, with her. The two parted ways in 2017 after 19 years of marriage but have maintained a cordial co-parenting relationship. Arbaaz and Sshura got married in an intimate ceremony in December 2023.

On the work front, Arbaaz was last seen in Farrey (2023), which also starred his niece Alizeh Agnihotri. The actor has also produced films like Patna Shuklla (2024) and Bandaa Singh Chaudhary (2024). He will be seen next alongside veteran actor Dharmendra in Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se, a family drama blended with a thriller.
