What’s streaming on Hindi OTT: From Huma Qureshi’s political-drama to Manav Kaul’s horror-thriller

Here is everything you can stream on Hindi OTT this week

Maharani 4 (November 7, Sony LIV): Huma Qureshi returns as the shrewd chief minister of Bihar, Rani Bharti in the fourth season of the political-thriller Maharani. This time around, Rani eyes the throne of Delhi locking horns with the Prime Minister, played by Vipin Sharma. The two discuss political alliances and she asks him to stay away from her state and not to shake hands with her enemy, otherwise she will dethrone him. Directed by Puneet Sharma and created by Jolly LLB franchise director Subhash Kapoor, the show also stars Shweta Basu Prasad, Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Shardul Bharadwaj, Kani Kusruti and Pramod Pathak in pivotal roles. The first season of the show aired in 2021 followed by the second season in 2022 and the third one in 2024.

Baramulla (November 7, Netflix): Next up on Hindi OTT this week is Manav Kaul playing a sincere police officer, DSP Ridwaan Shafi Sayyid who is called to Baramulla to investigate the mysterious disappearance of kids in the valley. Ridwaan finds himself navigating a case entangled in the valley’s socio-political unrest and long-buried secrets. As he settles in the town with his wife, Gulnaar (Bhasha), and their children, Noorie (Arista) and Ayaan (Rohaan), strange occurrences begin to unfold at home. Directed by Aditya Jambhale of Article 370 (2024) fame, the film also stars Bhasha Sumbli, Arista Mehta and Rohaan Singh in pivotal roles. It has been produced by Aditya Dhar, who has also worked on the story with Aditya Jambhale.

Ek Chatur Naar (November 7, Netflix): Divya Khossla and Neil Nitin Mukesh star in this black-comedy directed by Umesh Shukla. Divya's character is a woman of meagre means who makes way by hustling. One day she comes across a lost phone which stores an intimate video of a powerful businessman (played by Neil). This sparks a diabolical idea in Divya’s character’s head as she starts blackmailing the businessman. The film also stars Sushant Singh, Rajniesh Duggal, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, Heli Daruwala, Rose Sardana, and Geeta Agarwal Sharma, amongst others. It was released in theatres on September 12.

Thode Door Thode Paas (November 7, ZEE5): Pankaj Kapur, Mona Singh and Kunaal Roy Kapur star in this family-drama series directed by Ajay Bhuyan (Amit Sahni Ki List (2014). The show’s central theme explores how, in today’s households, generations live under one roof yet drift apart in their digital worlds. But when this family is suddenly forced to unplug, they rediscover the laughter, love, and chaos of real connections. It is produced by Manish, Shailesh Sanghvi and Nailesh Gada.

First Copy season 2 (November 5, Amazon MX Player): Comedian Munawar Faruqui returns to the second season of his crime-drama series, First Copy, playing the street-smart Arif who gets into the business of movie piracy. After coming out of prison in season 1, Arif wishes not to shut his piracy business but, in fact take it to a foreign land. The new season focuses on his struggle for redemption amidst higher stakes, larger-scale conflicts, and more complex relationships with both his romantic interests and powerful new allies. Directed by Farhan P. Zamma, the series stars Krystle D’Souza, Gulshan Grover, Saqib Ayub, Ashi Singh, Meiyang Chang, Inam Ul Haq, and Raza Murad in pivotal roles.
