Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s time-loop comedy-drama Bhool Chuk Maaf has earned Rs 40.43 crore at the box-office, as per Sacnilk. The film has been doing a steady business despite a delayed release and a two-week theatrical window before it comes on OTT.
After making the double digits on Sunday with Rs 11.5 crore, the film’s collection dropped on Monday to Rs 4.5 crore. It saw a small rise on Tuesday as it made Rs 4.75 crore. On Wednesday, the film minted Rs 3.07 crore. It had an occupancy of 11.16 % on Wednesday.
Written and directed by Karan Sharma, Bhool Chuk Maaf also stars Sanjay Mishra, Seema Pahwa, Zakir Hussain, Raghubir Yadav, Ishtiyak Khan and Anubha Fatehpuria in pivotal roles. It revolves around a soon-to-be-married man who realises that he is stuck in a time loop and keeps reliving the Haldi day before his wedding. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Sharada Karki Jalota.
The film was earlier scheduled to be released on OTT directly on May 16 owing to India-Pakistan tensions, however after a legal battle by multiplex chain PVRINOX, the film was released in theatres on May 23.
