At the Met Gala 2025, Priyanka Chopra, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh walked the blue carpet of the iconic fashion event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, United States, on Tuesday. It was Priyanka’s fifth appearance at the fashion event while Kiara and Diljit made their debut.

Going with the theme of this year, ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’, Priyanka wore a polka dot suit dress designed by Olivier Rousteing of Balmain. She appeared at the event along with her husband, Nick Jonas, who wore a dazzling white shirt and black designer pants.

Kiara made her debut at Met Gala 2025 with a baby bump as she wore a dress with a combination of black, white and gold designed by Gaurav Gupta. Sharing the photos, she wrote, "Mama's first Monday in May".

Diljit went in for a royal look that combined his cultural legacy with elegance. He wore a cream-coloured Punjabi outfit that was designed by Prabal Gurung. He also donned a royal turban that had jewelry attached on it. Sharing his look on Instagram, Diljit wrote, "I Bring My Turban, My Culture & My Mother Tongue “ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ “ to The MET GALA."

The theme for this year was inspired by the book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity written by Monica L. Miller.

Along with them, Shah Rukh Khan made his debut at Met Gala 2025, as he wore a stunning Sabyasachi outfit and wore a classy pendant with the letter ‘K’.

The Met Gala is an annual fundraising event for the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was started in 1948 by American fashion publicist Eleanor Lambert and has since then become a symbol of elegance and prestige.
