Shah Rukh Khan made his debut at the Met Gala 2025 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, United States, on Tuesday. He became the first Indian male actor to have attended the iconic fashion event. The actor looked stunning wearing an all-black outfit pairing it up with jewelry.

Shah Rukh wore a custom black suit designed by Sabyasachi and skipped wearing shirt as he put on gold necklaces. A pendant adorned his neck with the letter 'K'. He went in for a classy look aligning with the theme of the year—Superfine: Tailoring Style, an ode to the fashion icon that is black dandy.

The superstar was also seen introducing himself to the foreign media who were holding mics in from of him. "I am Shah Rukh," he said.

The official account of Sabyasachi shared his look on Instagram and wrote, “My interpretation of the Black Dandy is demonstrating his super stardom on a global stage. Dressed in classic menswear with the maximalist flourish of Sabyasachi, Shah Rukh Khan is a magician, superstar, and icon. Period.”

His photos from the event were shared by his manager Pooja Dadlani on Instagram. In one of the photos, Shah Rukh is holding a dandy cane and wearing black glasses.

Other Indian celebrities who attended Met Gala 2025 include Kiara Advani, Priyanka Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh.

The Met Gala is an annual fundraising event for the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was started in 1948 by American fashion publicist Eleanor Lambert and has since then become a symbol of elegance and prestige.
