Singer-turned-actor Lisa Mishra, who will next be seen in the Netflix series The Royals, recently spoke about how working with veteran actor Zeenat Aman was a personal triumph for her.
“My dad has always been a huge admirer of Zeenat Aman. I grew up watching her films with him, and I’ll never forget the look on his face when I told him I landed the role,” she said.
Lisa said she was deeply moved when she got to share screen space with the evergreen actor.
“It was this moment of pride, disbelief, and nostalgia all rolled into one. Getting to work with someone so iconic and someone my father idolised, it felt like a full-circle moment,” she added.
Apart from Aman and Lisa, The Royals also has an impressive ensemble of Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, Sakshi Tanwar, Dino Morea, Chunky Panday, Milind Soman, Vihaan Samat and Sumukhi Suresh, among others.
