Sanam Teri Kasam (2016) actor Harshvardhan Rane took to Instagram stories on Sunday evening to write a note for Babil Khan after his deleted videos sparked concern over his well-being. Harshvardhan told Babil to stay away from alcohol and after parties and to also avoid interaction with irritants.

Harshvardhan wrote, “Dear Babil Khan, you're blessed with God-level genetics in acting; we need you to carry on the legacy! Please just give your best to the craft and after that ‘stay away from the events and after parties’ so as to avoid interaction with irritants.”

He added, “I am not from a film family. I have learned that people won't treat you badly if you don't allow them. You need to ‘stand your ground.’ … Also, please ‘stay away from alcohol and any such stuff,’ because to stand tall, you will need strength. Please take care.”

Harshvardhan's story

In the deleted video, Babil dropped names of several celebrities like Ananya, Arjun Kapoor, Shanaya, Siddhant, Raghav, Adarsh and Arijit in one of the videos and followed it up by saying, “Bollywood is so f******. Bollywood is so screwed,” leading to many on the internet wonder if he is being isolated or bullied by these people in the industry.

Later, his family and team issued a statement stating that the actor had a “difficult day” and that he mentioned the celebrities’ names from a “place of genuine admiration” and for “their authenticity, passion, and efforts to restore credibility and heart in the industry”.

Ananya, Raghav and Siddhant also came out in support of the actor earlier, sharing the statement released by Babil’s team.
