Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal opened up about the statement issued by Babil Khan’s team about his viral deleted video where he called Bollywood fake. On Sunday, Babil shared a tearful video on Instagram stories, naming some Bollywood actors and criticizing the industry.

The actor mentioned Ananya, Arjun Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant, Raghav, Adarsh Gourav and Arijit Singh in one of the videos and followed it up by saying, “Bollywood is so f******. Bollywood is so screwed.”

Later, Babil’s family and PR team issued a statement stating that the actor had a “difficult day” and that he mentioned the celebrities’ names from a “place of genuine admiration” and for “their authenticity, passion, and efforts to restore credibility and heart in the industry”.

Siddhant wrote a long note on his stories, calling out media portals and gossip columns as he said, “I usually never engage in s*** written about me and my colleagues, but this one's personal. So, to all the Redditors, Gossip columns, and media portals of the internet. Stop. We love to hate and hate to love, is this what we've come to? Stop looking for drama here. All of us are working hard to bring drama to you on your screens.”

He further wrote in Hindi, “Maybe there was something missing there (on-screen) that you started looking for drama in our personal lives. We're still trying from our side, and we hope you also try to think once before passing any judgment.”

He also shared a video where he and Babil are seen singing a song.

The videos left netizens concerned about Babil’s mental health. Many also wondered if he is being isolated by the industry. Babil had also deleted his Instagram account after sharing the video. He restored it again in order to clear the air around what he said in the video.

On the work front, Babil was last seen in the ZEE5 film Logout.
