The Bhootnii Trailer: Sanjay Dutt is a desi ghostbuster fighting Mouni Roy’s evil spirit

The trailer of Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming horror-comedy The Bhootnii was unveiled by the makers on Saturday. Written by Vankush Arora and Sidhaant Sachdev, who has also directed it, the film also stars Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Aasif Khan and debutant Nick in pivotal roles.

The trailer introduces the world of the film which is set in a degree college and features three friends trying to find love. There is a ‘virgin tree’ where everyone prays for a better love life. A romance seems to be blooming between Sunny and Mouni. Soon, a ghost embodies Mouni’s character and she terrorizes everyone. Enter Sanjay’s character called ‘Baba’, who is a local ghostbuster as he begins gathering tactics to fight the ghost. There are some VFX heavy shots featuring Sanjay doing some fight sequences. There are some laugh-out-loud moments involving Sunny, Nick and Asif.

The film is produced by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay. It will be released in theatres on April 18.
