The teaser of Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh’s upcoming film Raid 2 was unveiled by the makers on Friday. Written by Ritesh Shah, Raj Kumar Gupta, Jaideep Yadav and Karan Vyas and directed by Raj, the film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak and Amit Sial in pivotal roles.

The teaser begins with some cars moving in the desert as a conversation goes off-screen where Ajay’s character, Amay Patnaik, is being described by Saurabh’s character, Tauji, who is in jail after the events of the first part. Amay’s track record shows that he has seized over 4200 crore of illicit money in 73 raids conducted. Now it's time for his 75th raid on a politician, Dadabhai, played by Riteish. The teaser ends with a conversation between the two as Dadabhai asks him, “Since when have Pandavas begun placing traps?” to which Amay replies, “I never said I was the Pandava. I am Mahabharata.”

Raid 2 has been produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar through their T-Series banner, alongside Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak of Panorama Studios. It will release in theatres on May 1.
