Shahid Kapoor’s actioner Deva now has an OTT release date. The Rosshan Andrrews directorial, which released in theatres on January 31 to a lukewarm response, will now stream on Netflix from March 28.

Deva is a remake of Rosshan’s 2013 psychological thriller Mumbai Police which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead. The Hindi remake also features Pooja Hegde, Kubbra Sait and Pavail Gulati.

The streamer Netflix took to Instagram to make the announcement. They shared a poster of the film and captioned the post, “Bhasad macha Trigger chala Deva aa raha hai (Create a ruckus. Pull the trigger. Deva is coming).”

Deva had a dull run at the box office and also didn’t score too well among the critics. Its total Hindi net collection was about Rs 34 crore.

When it comes to other projects, Shahid will be seen reuniting with his longtime collaborator, director Vishal Bhardwaj for his next Arjun Ustara.
