Sonu Sood’s wife Sonali Sood had a major car accident on Mumbai-Nagpur highway in Nagpur on Monday night, as per reports. The actor shared an update about her and told India Today, “She’s doing fine now. Had a miraculous escape. Om Sai Ram.”

The accident took place in Nagpur where Sonali was travelling with her sister and nephew when the car rammed into a truck from behind. Sonali is currently in Nagpur recovering from the incident. Sonu left for Nagpur after hearing the news and arrived there early morning on Tuesday.

On the work front Sonu was last seen in the cyber-thriller Fateh, which was produced by Sonali. It marked Sonu’s debut as a director and he also starred in the lead role in it. The film also starred Jacqueliene Fernandez and was released in theatres on January 10.
