PVR INOX will be organising a special film festival showcasing Aamir Khan’s films in order to celebrate his 60th birthday. Titled ‘The Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar,’ the festival will take place from March 14 to March 27, screening some of his iconic films.

Speaking about it, Ajay Bijli, Managing Director, PVR INOX Limited, said in a press release, “We are delighted to celebrate Aamir Khan, a true torchbearer of Indian cinema. He has never shied away from courageous scripts and has played a pivotal role in shaping the film industry as we know it today. “

He added, “Watching 3 Idiots made us realise the importance of chasing excellence over success—something that has always been at the core of Aamir’s philosophy. Aamir Khan’s films have conveyed powerful messages while simultaneously breaking box office records, setting benchmarks that few can match.”

The multiplex body also shared a poster featuring all the iconic characters played by Aamir over the years. The lineup of films is yet to be revealed.

On the work front, Aamir will be seen next in Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna and also starring Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh in a pivotal role.
