The Family Man Season 3 announcement video: Manoj Bajpayee’s witty comebacks meet Jaideep Ahlawat’s masked menace

Manoj Bajpayee is back as Shrikant Tiwari as streaming service Prime Video unveiled an official announcement video for The Family Man season 3. Created by Raj and DK, who have also directed it with Tusshar Seyth, the action-thriller show also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Nimrat Kaur, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Harman Singha, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Sundeep Kishan, Darshan Kumar, Seema Biswas, Gul Panag, Dalip Tahil, Vipin Sharma, Jugal Hansraj and Aditya Srivastava in pivotal roles.

The video gives a brief glimpse into the earlier seasons and the action-packed visuals from 2019 and 2021. Then, in 2025, we see Shrikant talking to the ticket checker in a train. “What do you do,” Shrikant is asked, to which he replies with a smile, “I am a life and relationship counsellor.” His wife, played by Priyamani bats her face hearing this. It then gives a brief look into the action that follows in season 3. Nimrat’s character is briefly shown sipping a beverage from a cup. It ends with the visuals of a masked Jaideep riding on a bike, wearing black commando clothes.

The show is written by Suman Kumar, Raj & DK, Sudhish Kamath and Nikhil Gonsalves with dialogues by Sumit Arora. It is shot by Jay Charola and edited by Sumeet Kotian.

The release date of the show is not unveiled yet.

The first season of the series premiered in 2019 and told the story of middle-class man Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj, who works for the special cell of the National Investigation Agency. While the first season followed Srikant and others investigating a terror attack, the second season, which premiered in 2021, explored the military resistance of Tamilians from Sri Lanka. It ended with a glimpse into the potential conflict in season 3 involving a Chinese attack on India. The third season of the show is reportedly set in Nagaland.
