The trailer of Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun Rampal's supernatural thriller Nikita Roy was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday. Directed by Kussh S Sinha and written by Pavan Kirpalan, the film also stars Paresh Rawal and Suhail Nayyar in pivotal roles.

The trailer features some harrowing visuals, opening with Sonakshi entering a mysterious house in the woods at night. She discovers something supernatural there. Paresh plays a godman who seems to be controlling people psychologically as Sonakshi vows to put his truth in the open in one week. “You don’t have so much time,” he retorts back. She teams up with the character of Arjun to discover what’s the matter behind a bunch of murders taking place. Not much is revealed about the plot in the trailer.

As per an earlier press release, Nikita Roy explores the fragile boundary between perception and reality, unravelling themes of paranoia, buried truths, and the human mind's darker recesses.

It is produced by Nickky Bhagnani and Viicky Bhagnani. Anand Mehta, Prakash Nand Bijlani, Shakti Bhatnagar, Mehnaaz Shaikh, and Prem Raj Joshi serve as co-producers. The film will be released in theatres on June 27.
