
Sonakshi Sinha has wrapped shooting for her Telugu film debut Jatadhara, she announced through social media. Headlined by Sudheer Babu, the film is written and directed by Venkat Kalyan. It is touted as a supernatural thriller.
Sharing photos with the team on Instagram, Sonakshi wrote in caption, “And one more down! A film wrap for me on Jatadhara, my first Telugu film and my team has killed it on this one! Bohot mazza ayaa, bohot dhamaal kiya (Had so much fun), can’t wait for you all to see! Thank you for the amazing shooting experience.”
Her first look from the film was unveiled earlier where she was seen wearing a lot of jewellery and a traditional attire with only her eyes visible.
The film will reportedly explore the mystery of the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple, dealing with the legends and theories surrounding the temple's mysterious powers. It is produced by Zee Studios, Umesh KR Bansal, Prerna V Arora, Shivin Narang and Nikhil Nanda.
Sonakshi was last seen in the horror-comedy Kakuda, which released on ZEE5, in 2024. She also starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar which released on Netflix last year.
