Pardesiya’, a song from Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming romantic-drama Param Sundari was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday. It is sung by Sonu Nigam, Krishnakali Saha and Sachin-Jigar, who have also composed it. The song has lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

The music video of the song begins with Sidharth and Janhvi sharing a moment of love where he is seen teasing her after a fight. Then they are shown going to picturesque locations together. They travel on a bike by the hills as the vocals by Sonu underline the intense feeling of love. At one point, they are briefly seen dancing in a forest where Janhvi is wearing a yellow sari. Later, the two share a cheeky moment on a bike where Janhvi sits on the front while Sidharth drives with a funny expression. The vocals by Sonu highlight the tender emotion while the music by Sachin-Jigar is a breezy mix of some quirky beats with a classical touch. The music video ends with some visuals of a marriage taking place and some tension between Sidharth and Janhvi.

Param Sundari is directed by Tushar Jalota (Dasvi, 2022), who has also written the screenplay with Aarsh Vora. It has been officially described as “Where North’s fire meets South’s grace, it calls for the biggest love story of the year.”

The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and it was earlier set to be released in theatres on July 25 but was delayed. It will now hit the screen on August 29.

The romantic-drama will mark the first collaboration between Sidharth and Janhvi. Sidharth was last seen in the actioner Yodha (2024) and he also has the folk-thriller Vvan—Force of the Forrest in the pipeline. Meanwhile Janhvi’s Homebound was recently screened at Cannes. She was last seen in the espionage thriller Ulajh last year.
