Harsh Goenka acknowledges Amitabh Bachchan's longevity with Muqaddar Ka Sikandar reference

Businessman Harsh Goenka shared on X a still from 1978's Muqaddar Ka Sikandar and made an insightful reference, which serves as a tribute to Amitabh Bachchan's longevity in the film industry. "There are 4 legends in this pic: Premier Padmini, Chetak Scooter, Rajdoot Motorcycle, and Amitabh Bachchan… All gone, only 1 has survived… Amitabh….Wah!" reads the X post from Harsh Goenka. Amitabh Bachchan's fans and Harsh Goenka's followers praised the former's longevity and the latter's keen observation.

Released in October 1978, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar is a love triangle involving Bachchan's titular character, Raakhee's Kaamna, and Vinod Khanna's lawyer. The still that Harsh Goenka shared is from the famous song 'Rote Hue Aate Hain Sab' by Mukesh that features Amitabh Bachchan riding his motorcycle on the roads of Mumbai.

Amitabh Bachchan has been in the film industry for close to 60 years, having made his acting debut with 1969's Saat Hindustani.

This is not the first time Harsh Goenka shared a post related to Amitabh Bachchan on social media. In 2023, he shared a note he received from the actor, wishing him success for the year ahead and with lines from the actor's poet father Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan is set to come back as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) Season 17.

According to reports, the actor is part of the cast of Ramayana: Part 1, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash. Reportedly, he is set to play Jatayu in the film.
