The trailer of Suniel Shetty and Jackie Shroff’s action-thriller series, Hunter season 2 was unveiled by the makers on Friday. Written and created by Amar Tipnis and Ali Haji, the series has been directed by Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra.

The trailer shows Suniel fighting to save his family from the menacing Jackie. Suniel’s daughter seems to have been kidnapped as he rushes in to rescue her. He is seen breaking bones and spilling blood in some action heavy scenes. The old song, ‘Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamannah Hai’, from Guide (1965) plays over the trailer in a remixed version. Jackie wears stylish clothes throughout and is briefly seen violently killing others. The trailer ends with a fight sequence in an airplane between Suniel and Jackie where the latter shoots Suniel.

The synopsis of the show reads, “In Hunter Season 2, the stakes have never been higher as action, suspense, and espionage collide. But with betrayal lurking around every corner, will Vikram succeed in saving Pooja, or will the forces against him prove too powerful?”

The series is produced by Vikram Mehra and Siddharth Anand Kumar. The first season was released in 2023 on Amazon miniTV and also starred Esha Deol, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Karanvir Sharma, and Rahul Dev in pivotal roles. It will be released on Amazon MX Player on July 24.

Suniel was last seen in The Legend of Somnath. He will be seen next in Welcome 3, Hera Pheri 3. Welcome 3 also stars Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Paresh Rawal and Arshad Warsi, among others. Suniel was also seen in the ZEE5 film, Operation Fryday last year.

Meanwhile, Jackie was last seen in the multi-starrer comedy-drama Housefull 5 and also in Anupam Kher’s Tanvi The Great.
