A new video making rounds on social media shows visuals from the wrap of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1. Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram in the film, can be seen hugging Ravi Dubey, who plays Ram’s younger brother Lakshmana.

Ranbir can also be seen cutting a cake to celebrate the occasion. He feeds Ravi along with Nitesh while congratulating them on the shoot wrap.

The filming wrap comes few days days before the makers are set to unveil “the first official glimpse” into the Ramayana franchise on an IMAX screen in Mumbai on Thursday, July 03. As per reports, Ranbir is off to a vacation with wife Alia Bhatt and mother Neetu Kapoor and will not be attending the event. Additionally, Kannada star Yash, who serves as a co-producer as well as plays the chief antagonist Ravana in the franchise, has also left for a vacation with his family to the US and will be giving the event a slip.

Ramayana will be released in a two-part film series and will also star Sai Pallavi as Sita and Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari. It is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The first part is set to be released on Diwali 2026, followed by the second part in Diwali 2027.
