The song ‘Jaane Tu’ from Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s historical-drama Chhaava was unveiled by the makers on Friday. It is composed by AR Rahman with vocals by Arijit Singh and lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

The music video begins with a dialogue by Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky, as he describes his love for his wife Yesubai, played by Rashmika. Further, the video features glimpses of mutual admiration between the two as she is seen praying for him. The music by Rehman combines classical instruments like flute, table and sarod to create a soothing experience. Arijit sings it with grace and emotional resonance.

Chhaava has been directed by Laxman Utekar and also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh, Diana Penty, and Santosh Juvekar in pivotal roles. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, it is set to be released in theatres on February 14.
