Aditya Roy Kapur is set to headline Raj and DK’s upcoming fantasy web series Rakt Brahmand – The Bloody Kingdom. The series is helmed by the director duo along with Tumbbad fame Rahi Anil Barve. It also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Ali Fazal in pivotal roles.

Aditya confirmed his association with the series to Hindustan Times. The show’s first schedule shoot was wrapped recently in Mumbai. Aditya reportedly went through a rigorous physical training to prepare for his role in the series as he learnt sword fighting, weaponry, archery and horse riding.

Rakt Brahmand was announced by Raj and DK last year in collaboration with Netflix.

Aditya was last seen in the web series The Night Manager, which released on Disney+ Hotstar in 2023. He has Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino in the pipeline which also stars Ali Fazal along with Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Mishra and Konkona Sen Sharma in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Raj and DK's The Gulkanda Tales has long been in the making, since it was announced by Prime Video in 2022. It is directed by Rahi.
