John Abraham has been roped in to star in SS Rajamouli’s next, as per a report in News24. The film reportedly features Priyanka Chopra Jonas too. It stars Mahesh Babu in the lead and is being shot currently. Although it is not confirmed, the report states that John has replaced Prithviraj Sukumaran in the film.

The publication quoted a source saying, “Earlier, Prithviraj Sukumaran was considered for the role, but things could not materialise. Now, John will be seen sharing the screen with Priyanka Chopra. He has quite a few scenes with her and the shoot will happen in Hyderabad itself."

As per reports, the film was officially launched earlier this month with a pooja ceremony. However, no photos from the ceremony were shared by the makers. More details from the project are awaited.

John was last seen in the actioner Vedaa, which released in theatres on August 15, 2024. He will be seen next in The Diplomat, which is slated for a March 7 release. On the other hand, Priyanka has Heads of State and The Bluff in the pipeline.
