We had earlier reported that Gopichand Malineni is collaborating with Sunny Deol on an action entertainer, titled Jaat. The teaser of the film was released in December last year. The makers of Jaat have now set April 10 as the release date for their film. 

Jaat marks the Bollywood debut for production banners Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. “Action superstar Sunny Deol is coming to the big screens with unrestricted action and unfathomable aura,” the makers captioned the release date announcement post.

The film also marks Hindi debut for Gopichand, who last directed the Balakrishna starrer Veera Simha Reddy. Gopichand’s upcoming projects also include a film with Ravi Teja.

Jaat stars Randeep Hooda as the antagonist, and prominent names like Vineet Kumar Singh, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, and Swarupa Ghosh in the supporting cast. Thaman S is the music composer. In the technical crew, cinematography is by Rishi Punjabi. Navin Nooli and Avinash Kolla are the editor and production designer, respectively. 

The makers are planning to release the film in Tamil and Telugu as well
