Two new posters from the historical-drama Chhaava were unveiled by the makers on Tuesday, which feature Akshaye Khanna as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal, playing Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika Mandanna, as his wife Maharani Yesubai.

In the first poster, Akshaye has a sharp gaze directed at someone as parts of his hair float across this face. It is difficult to recognize the actor with white beard and hair. In the second poster, he is wearing a crown in a side pose.

Sharing the posters, the makers wrote, “Darr aur dehshat ka naya chehra (A new face of fear and panic) - Presenting Akshaye Khanna as Mughal Shahenshah Aurangzeb, the ruthless ruler of the Mughal Empire!”

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film features music by AR Rahman. It is produced by Maddock Films.

Chhaava's trailer is scheduled to release on January 22, while the film itself will hit theatres on February 14.
