Actors Pratik Gandhi and Yami Gautam will soon be seen in romantic-comedy Dhoom Dhaam. The film is going to directly release on Netflix and the streaming giant shared a first look from it on Instagram on Sunday. It is directed by Rishab Seth.
The image shared is in the form of a newspaper matrimonial ad and shows Yami and Pratik dressed up as bride and groom. Yami plays Koyal Chaddha from Mumbai and her introduction reads: “Marriageable age. Sanskaari, spiritual, and homely girl. Looking for a susheel family oriented groom. Marriage is a wild ride and I'm not a passenger princess If my doggy likes you, then rishta pakka samjho." On the other hand, Prateek is Dr. Veer from Gujarat. “Gujju Boy. Vet. Want to retire from bachelor life, so looking for Mrs. Right. Living in DRY state (Ahmedabad roxx) but ready to intoxicate you with unconditional love. "Adventure" is my middle name. Will garba right into your heart,” reads his funny introduction.
Netflix captioned the post, “Don’t DM us for rishtas kyunki humari shaadi “Dhoom Dhaam” se hone vaali hai.”
This will be the first collaboration between Yami and Pratik. Dhoom Dhaam will be produced by Yami’s husband and filmmaker Aditya Dhar and his brother Lokesh Dhar along with Jio Studios. Although the film’s release date is still under wraps, it is scheduled to land on OTT some time this year.
