John Abraham’s next thriller The Diplomat to release on this date

The release date of John Abraham headliner espionage-thriller The Diplomat has been unveiled. The film, directed by Shivam Nair and penned by Ritesh Shah, will hit theatres on March 7.

Sharing a poster from the film, which reads “A true hero needs no weapon” and features John in a suit and sporting a moustache, the actor wrote, “Honoured to bring this story of courage and diplomacy to life. See you in theatres on March 7th!”

As per a press note shared by the makers, The Diplomat is inspired by “a true story that shook the nation.”

The film’s producers T-Series also shared the poster on Instagram and wrote, “When diplomacy becomes the only weapon, one man takes on the impossible. This March 7th, discover a story that defied all odds, only in theatres near you!”

The Diplomat is produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar; John Abraham of JA Entertainment; Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl of Wakaoo Films, Sameer Dixit and Jatish Varma of Fortune Pictures and Rakesh Dang of Seeta Films.
