The trailer of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhava will be unveiled on January 22, the makers said on Thursday. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles. It is directed by Laxman Utekar and is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

The makers unveiled a poster of the film which features Vicky as the Maratha warrior king, sitting on his throne. They wrote in caption, “On 16th January 1681, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's Rajyabhishek ceremony marked the beginning of a legendary legacy! 344 years later, we bring his story of unshaken courage and glory to life. Chhaava Trailer out on 22nd January! Releasing in cinemas on 14th February 2025.”

Earlier, the teaser of the film was unveiled which gave a glimpse into the film, where an armored Vicky galloping into action.

The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. Rashmika will play Sambhaji’s wife Yesubai in the film. The film is slated to release in theatres on February 14.
