Tabu will feature in Priyadarshan’s upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla opposite Akshay Kumar. The actor took to Instagram on Saturday to make the announcement.

Tabu shared a picture of a clapboard with Bhooth Bangla written on it and captioned the post, “Hum yahan bandh hain (We are trapped here).”

The film also stars Paresh Rawal. Akshay and Tabu have worked together previously on Hera Pheri (2000), which was also directed by Priyadarshan.

For Akshay, Bhooth Bangla will be the seventh collaboration with Priyadarshan. The actor-director have previously worked on acclaimed comedies like Garam Masala (2005), Bhagam Bhag (2006), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), De Dana Dan (2009) and Khatta Meetha (2010).

The film has been produced by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, Akshay’s Cape Of Good Films and co-produced by Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali. It is scheduled to release in theatres on April 2, 2026.
