Hrithik Roshan opened up about his experience of working with Rajinikanth in the 1986 thriller Bhagwaan Dada and said that the superstar would often take the blame on set if Hrithik did a mistake during a shot. Hrithik was speaking at the trailer launch of the docu-series The Roshans.

Hrithik was shown a photo from the shoot of the film where he is sharing screen with Rajinikanth. Looking at the photo Hrithik shared memories from the set and said, “He was quite gentle and generous. When I messed up a shot, Rajni sir used to take the blame so that I would not get conscious as a child.”

He added, “At that time, I didn’t know I was working with a legend. For me, he was Rajini uncle. Today if I get a chance to work with him, I will be very different. I will realize the burden that I am sharing screen space with him.”

The Roshans is directed by Shashi Ranjan. It will be released on Netflix on January 17.
