Shah Rukh Khan will soon be shifting out of his grand bungalow, Mannat and live in a rented flat in Mumbai’s Bandra along with his family. As per reports, his bungalow will be going through a grand renovation which will take up to two years to complete.

Sources told The Hindustan Times that the renovation work will begin from May this year and includes an extension of the bungalow for which the actor had to take permission from court. Mannat is a heritage structure and doing any change requires proper permissions.

Shah Rukh and his family will be relocating to four floors of a luxury apartment in Bandra’s Pali Hill area. He has reportedly leased these floors from film producer Vashu Bhagnani. “It is clearly not as capacious as Mannat; there is enough space to accommodate his security and other staff,” sources told the publication.

The apartment has been taken for lease for three years; however, it is not known whether they will be staying at the place for that long.

On the work front, Shah Rukh will be seen next in the actioner King, which is reportedly being helmed by Pathaan director Siddharth Anand.
