The song ‘Goli Maar Bheje Mein’ from Sohum Shah’s upcoming thriller Crazxy was unveiled by the makers on Monday. It is recreated from the classic song from Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya (1998), originally composed by Vishal Bhardwaj and written by Gulzar. The new song also features a rap portion sung by Ila Arun.

The music video of the song begins with Sohum entering a cinema theatre, where a song is being played. He interrupts the show and says that the film being on-screen has been made by him and hence he will dance in it. The next shot sees him inside the screen, in a meta moment as the song begins with an infusion of electronic beats and energetic vocals. Sohum begins to dance in style. After some time, Ila makes her appearance and sings a rap portion. The song also features vocals by Paroma Dasgupta and Siddharth Basrur and is recreated by The Red Kettle with additional lyrics by Vayu.

Crazxy is a thriller written and directed by Girish Kohli, known for writing films like Sridevi’s Mom (2017) and Rajkummar Rao’s HIT: The First Case (2022). Produced by Sohum, Mukesh Shah, Amita Shah, and Adesh Prasad, the film will be released in theatres on February 28.
