Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Lootera to re-release in theatres

Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha starrer period romantic-drama Lootera is set to return to the big screen. The 2013 Vikramaditya Motwane directorial will re-release in theatres on March 7.

PVR cinemas took to their Instagram to make the announcement. Sharing the poster of the film, they wrote, “It’s time, everyone! Experience the magic of Lootera once again on the big screen, starting March 7. Re-releasing at PVR INOX on March 7!"

Lootera is a classic romantic film set in the 1950s. Inspired by O. Henry’s short story The Last Leaf, the film tells a romantic tale amidst betrayal and deception. Ranveer Singh plays the role of a charming young man named Varun Shrivastav, who crosses paths with an aspiring young writer named Pakhi Roy Choudhury, played by Sonakshi Sinha.

The film also features Vikrant Massey, Shirin Huha, Adil Hussain, Divya Dutta and Arif Zakaria among others. Lootera, when it originally released did average business but received critical acclaim.
