Amol Parashar, Vinay Pathak start shooting for the comedy-drama series Gram Chikitsalay

It follows the journey of a doctor from the city as he adjusts to life at a small-town public health center

Amol Parashar and Vinay Pathak have started shooting for the comedy-drama series Gram Chikitsalay, the makers announced on Friday. Produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), the series also stars Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Akash Makhija, Garima Vikrant Singh and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor in pivotal roles.

Sharing some photos from the shoot of the film, the makers wrote on social media, “Images of the Gram, for the gram.” In the photos, Amol is seen as a simple guy from the city who is navigating the village life.

As per a press note shared by the makers, “Gram Chikitsalay is a delightful blend of humor and emotions. The series follows the journey of a doctor from the city as he adjusts to life at a small-town public health center.”

Amol is known for starring in TVF’s Tripling and playing the role of Bhagat Singh in Shoojit Sircar’s Sardar Udham. He was last seen in the romantic-comedy Sweet Dreams, alongside Mithila Palkar, which released on Disney+ Hotstar on January 25.
