Pathaan 2 might just be happening. The ‘confirmation’, however, came from an unlikely source. At a real estate event in Dubai where Shah Rukh Khan was in attendance to launch a tower after him, a developer got on stage and said, "Koi blockbuster movie hoti hai toh uska ek sequel hota hai, am I right? Like ‘Pathaan’. ‘Pathaan 2’ aa rahi hai. Toh koi movie aap dekho, toh uska sequel hoga (When there is a blockbuster movie, it naturally gets a sequel, am I right? Like ‘Pathaan’. ‘Pathaan 2’ is coming. So, any big movie you see will usually have a sequel). So, if I make a second tower named after Shah Rukh, would you guys be able to sell it?”

SRK, however, didn’t contest or confirmed the claim.

At the same event, SRK also spoke about what his recent achievements mean to him, including a bronze Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) statue in London and a Dubai building named after him.

"I have a bronze DDLJ statue in London, I’ve won a National Award, and now there’s a building in Dubai named after me," he said. "I’ve become someone my parents can look down on proudly from heaven. It’s a life-changing moment for me."

As per a mid-day report Pathaan 2 will be shot in Chile and is expected to go on floors next year. As per an earlier Pinkvilla report, the sequel will reportedly lay the foundation for a massive face-off between SRK’s Pathaan and Salman Khan’s Tiger in Tiger vs Pathaan.
