Director Aditya Dhar's film Dhurandhar, featuring a star-studded ensemble cast, has opened in theatres to a gross collection of around 160 crore from theatres worldwide, according to its makers. While the film has had some negative reviews, it has also enjoyed its fair share of positive feedback. The latest to appreciate the film, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, is Vijay Devarakonda. The Arjun Reddy star took to his Instagram Stories and wrote, "Watched Dhurandhar last night and completely enjoyed it." He also tagged Ranveer, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Aditya Dhar and wrote, "The boys were all on fire," Vijay wrote in his Dhurandhar movie review. He also expressed his affection for the team behind the film and congratulated them for the big opening it has received at the box office.

The film, also starring R Madhavan and Sara Arjun, follows an Indian intelligence operator (Ranveer) who infiltrates Pakistan's underworld to combat terrorism. In our review of the film, Kartik Bhardwaj wrote, "Dhurandhar blends the elements of a spy-thriller and an epic gangster saga. The result is a film which is always pregnant with promise but never delivers. At a run-time of 3. 5 hours (longest since 2008's Jodhaa Akbar), the film sometimes hits but often misses on the engagement meter."
