The trailer of Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming hyper-violent actioner, Baaghi 4 was unveiled by the makers on Saturday. Written and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by A. Harsha, the film also stars Harnaaz Sandhu, Sonam Bajwa, Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva and Upendra Limaye in pivotal roles.
The trailer is filled with over-the-top violent visuals featuring Tiger and Sanjay going on an unabashed killing spree. Tiger plays a Navy officer who seems to not forget memories of his ex-lover Alisha (Harnaaz). He is told by psychologists that he is just hallucinating and the person doesn’t exist in reality. It is implied that Sanjay’s character killed Alisha in a brutal manner. That puts Tiger into action mode. Saurabh seems to play a negative character. The trailer features some extremely gory action scenes with Tiger seen slashing goons, beheading them and also slicing a person’s body in half at one point. His gruesome moves are complemented by Sanjay, who does the same as he is seen playing around with a bunch of severed fingers from someone’s body. Even Sonam is shown engaging in action in a scene where she stabs a goon. The trailer also features some punchy dialogues, promising to be a gory experience with a love story at the center.
Sharing the trailer, the makers wrote, “The bloodiest love story of the year starts here. Yaha, Har aashiq ek villain hai (Here, every lover is a villain)”.
Rajat Aroraa has written the additional screenplay and dialogues for the film which is shot by Swamy J Gowda and edited by Kiran Gowda and Nitin FCP. It features music by a bunch of artists including, Badshah, Agaaz, Tanishk Bagchi, Ganesh Waghela, Payal Dev, Aditya Dev, Siddhaant Miishhraa, Suyyash & Siddharth, Gourova Dasgupta, Salamat Ali Matio & Josh Brar with lyrics by Sameer Anjaan, Kumaar, Badshah, Farhan Memon, Danish Sabri, Paradox, Gopi Sidhu & Star Boy Loc, Jagdeep Warring, Josh Brar & Bunty Bains.
Baaghi 4 is set to be released in theatres on September 5, clashing at the box office with Vivek Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files.
