Superstar Shah Rukh Khan with his wit and charm returned in the role of the host of IIFA 2024, held in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. Photos and videos from the star-studded evening are making the rounds on social media. Various viral moments adorned the night including Shah Rukh and co-host Vicky Kaushal hilariously recreating Allu Arjun and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s steps from ‘Oo Antava’, the chartbuster from Pushpa: The Rise. SRK, Vicky and Karan Johar also grooved on ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’. In another clip, Vicky and Shah Rukh matched steps on ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’, a song from SRK’s 1998 comedy Duplicate, which was recreated for Vicky’s last film Bad Newz.
The evening began with Shah Rukh making quite an entrance as he spread his arms wide in his signature pose as a massive crown lit up on the screen behind him. SRK and Vicky’s playful camaraderie stole the show. While performing the hook step of ‘Tauba Tauba’, SRK hilariously paused, admitting he couldn’t quite master the move. Vicky, however, kept going, even playfully overshadowing Shah Rukh in the process.
Shah Rukh Khan also played the perfect gentleman, as he bent down to pick up the trail of Rani Mukerji’s saree and helped her as she came on stage to present an award. SRK won the Best Actor award for Jawan at IIFA, while Rani bagged Best Actress trophy for Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway.
