The teaser of Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released by the makers on Friday. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the horror-comedy also stars Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sanjay Mishra, Rajpal Yadav and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles. It is written by Aakash Kaushik.

The teaser opens with a devilish voice of Vidya Balan as she speaks in Bengali while the visuals elevate the creepiness. Then Kartik’s voiceover is heard saying, “You thought the story was over?”. He talks about opening the door and we get a peek inside it where Vidya is screaming and picks up a throne in her hand. The teaser is filled with some spooky visuals and jump scares. Triptii briefly features in it.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, is the third part of the hit franchise helmed by Anees Bazmee, who also directed the sequel released in 2022. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was a sequel to filmmaker Priyadarshan's 2007 film of the same name that featured Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja.

The horror-comedy is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Murad Khetani with Shiv Chanana serving as the co-producer. It is slated to release on the occasion of Diwali on November 1 this year, clashing with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
