Anupam Kher, Boman Irani-starrer comedy Khosla Ka Ghosla to re-release in theatres

The film marked the debut of director Dibakar Banerjee

Dibakar Banerjee’s cult-comedy Khosla Ka Ghosla will re-release in theatres after 18 years on October 18. The 2006 film stars Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, Parvin Dabas, and Tara Sharma, among others.

Written by Jaideep Sahni, the film revolves around Kishore Khosla (Kher) a middle-class Delhiite and his family’s attempt to take back their plot of land that has been illegally seized by a corrupt builder Khurana (Irani).

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media on Friday to share the announcement of the film's theatrical re-release. The post reads, "KHOSLA KA GHOSLA’ RETURNS TO *BIG SCREENS* ON 18 OCT... The much-loved film #KhoslaKaGhosla - which has achieved cult classic status over the years - is *re-releasing* in *theatres* on 18 Oct 2024. When it was first released in 2006, Khosla Ka Ghosla won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.
