Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri hints at wrapping up writing the screenplay for The Delhi Files

The director took to social media to share a photo from his computer screen where he is writing the script

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a photo of the title page of the screenplay of his next film, The Delhi Files and hinted at completing it. He has earlier made The Tashkent Files and The Kashmir Files and The Delhi Files will be the third part in the trilogy.

The carousel post features a photo of his laptop screen displaying the title card of the script, which reads, “Written by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, Based on True Events.” Alongside this, there are pictures of the filmmaker at the beach.

Posting the photos, Vivek wrote in the caption in Hindi, "बस, लगता है अब हो गया. ४ साल सींचने के बाद अब अंकुर निकलने लगे हैं (It seems now that it’s done. After nurturing it for 4 years, the sprout has begun to emerge)” The Delhi Files Script.”

Earlier, Vivek had said that the film will be going on floors this year and will be released in 2025. It will be produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and Vivek's I am Buddha Production.

Vivek’s last directorial was The Vaccine War which released last year and starred Nana Patekar, Raima Sen, Girija Oak and Pallavi Joshi in pivotal roles.
