The Vikrant Massey starrer The Sabarmati Report has locked a release date. The film, which was earlier scheduled to release on May 3 and then got postponed, will now hit theatres on November 15.
The film's production house, Balaji Motion Pictures took to Instagram on Thursday to share a new poster and make the announcement, “The burning truth will be out on 15th November! Stay Tuned!” they captioned the post.
The film revolves around the death of karsevaks (RSS workers) in a fire on the Sabarmati Express at the Godhra railway station in Gujarat on the morning of February 27, 2002. The incident led to the Gujarat riots of 2002.
The Sabarmati Report is directed by Dheeraj Sarna and also stars Rashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. The film will be Vikrant’s first theatrical release since 12th Fail. He was recently seen in the role of a psychopathic serial killer in Sector 36.
It has been produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan.
