Kareena Kapoor Khan’s mystery-thriller The Buckingham Murders has managed to earn Rs 8.82 crore at the box-office, according to the makers. Directed by Hansal Mehta and written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, the film also stars celebrity chef-turned-actor Ranveer Brar in a pivotal role, along with Ash Tandon, Assad Raja, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sanjeev Mehra, Adwoa Akoto, Zain Hussain.

The makers shared the news along with the poster of the film. They wrote in the caption, “The mystery is making its mark! Book your tickets now. (Link in bio) The Buckingham Murders in cinemas now.”

According to the numbers shared by the makers, the film collected Rs 1.62 crore on Friday, Day 1 and saw a 90% jump on Saturday, Day 2, collecting Rs 2.41 crore and Rs 2.72 crore on Sunday, Day 3. It made Rs 1.06 crore on Monday and Rs 1.01 Cr. on Tuesday Day 5. This brings the total net box office collection to ₹8.82 Cr.

However, according to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film’s five days collection stands at Rs 6.8 crore with Rs 4.15 crore for the Hindi version and Rs 2.65 for the Hinglish version.

The film is a Mahana Films and TBM Films production, presented by Balaji Telefilms, and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and first-time producer Kareena Kapoor Khan. It released in theatres on September 13.
