PVR INOX will be curating a film festival in honour of Kareena Kapoor Khan for completing 25 years in the film industry, she said on Monday night. She shared a promo video featuring snippets from some of her films. More details about the festival are awaited.
The video features a monochrome version of Kareena’s films right from Chameli (2001) to Jab We Met (2009). It also has some of her memorable dialogues running over the visuals. Sharing the video, Kareena wrote, “The blood in my veins, the magic on screen… my job I love… the fire within… here’s to the next 25. Thank you to @pvrcinemas_official & @inoxmovies for curating this beautiful festival, so humbled.”
Kareena made her Hindi film debut in 2000 with Refugee, which also marked the first film of Abhishek Bachchan. Since then, she has starred in films like Asoka (2001), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) Omkara (2006), 3 Idiots (2009), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Udta Punjab (2016) and recently in Crew and The Buckingham Murders.
She will next be seen in Singham Again, which is set to be released on Diwali.
