Season 2 of The Great Indian Kapil Show to stream from this date

Kapil Sharma’s The Great Indian Kapil Show will return for another season, and the makers have announced its premiere date. The second season of the series with Kapil Sharma as the host will start streaming on Netflix from September 21.

Along with Kapil, the cast of Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Archana Puran Singh and Rajiv Thakur will return for the show.

The final episode of the first season was released on June 22 and featured Kartik Aaryan as the guest.

Earlier, in the middle of the first season, reports of The Great Indian Kapil Show suffering from low viewership had surfaced. The show’s cast, however, hit back at these rumours, confirming that their contract with Netflix is getting over for Season 1 but they will return with a new season.

On the film front, Kapil was recently seen in a special appearance in Crew, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon.
